Sydney Australia

Feeling a travelers high from Malaysia I was determined to pack in as much in one day in Sydney as I could. I spent a bit of time in the morning in a local market to pick up some touristy things.

I then stopped by a local hot spot for cream puffs 0.35/each

 I then met my friend Alex for lunch at Sushi Train

After a quick bite to eat I was off to the famous Bondi Beach. I was pretty amazed at how big the area was it was nice to be at one of the famous beaches in Australia.

After spending some time there it was time for me to head to the hostel now on way back. I stopped at a bakery near the time it was closing (wohoo buy 1 meat pie get 1 free).

That night I went to a bar and they had drag gueen karaoke it was horrible. It was funny watching them burn people especially the one's who we're terrible at signing. Overall not a bad quick day I think I want to for a few more days like this after all its;

Auckland demon concert

My first weekend back there was a rock concert in Auckland best of all it was free :)

I decided to checkout the facebook page for the rock fest and you were able to bring your own food and booze - OH YEAH!!! I picked up a case of ciders for the concert. The bands were all kiwi bands I was pretty excited to go to a free concert. I scored a few free chocolate bars which was important since valentines day was the next day.

The bands were all pretty awesome and the weather was roasting!

These are the kind of days you hope and pray for as a traveler. This was a great way to be welcomed back to NZ. I hope I have a few more days like this as it is;

KL Malaysia Kuala Lumpur

This is one of the fastest most jam packed nights I have ever had in a country. I had done some research online to see what I could do or see in a night. The goal was simple to see the Petronas towers.

It was like I was on an episode of the amazing race. The good news was my checked bad was checked straight through for Australia so when I got to Malaysia I didn't need to worry about it. Upon entering Malyasia I found out how to get to the Petronas Towers. I took a quick train into town which cost about 20 Canadian from there you had to take the local train 3 stops. It took a few minutes to get local currency grab something quick and get my ticket for the train. The trains were jam packed but they had spray on the train to keep down the smell.

The train took me to a mall I got out and saw the legendary towers and took a few pictures.

I decided it wasnt worth going all over the city so I decided to head back to the airport. On my way back I stopped had two doughnuts one cheesecake and the other chocolate peanut butter - YUM.

I listened to some buskers play, nearly witness a fight, I pick up some nice tasty fresh fruit for less than 2 Canadian dollars. On the train ride back I photo bombed a local.

Within 3 hours I was back at the airport. I spent the night in the container Hotel. It cost me less than $40 for most of the night it was actually really can't fall asleep but there is not much room inside the room other than for your body and maybe a small day pack. When I woke up in the morning I decided to try to find my flight cetre now I'm a fairly experience travel but this airport with massive and a little on the confusing side so it is definitely not for first timers.

Overall I was quite happy with my one night stopover in Malaysia it did show me what you can do in a little amount of time. I do hope to do a few more stop overs like this after all its;

Korea hike - change is possible

When I arrived in Seoul Korea I discovered it  is possible to hike in the mountains and see temples. I decided I want to do this because I want to do more things to look back upon.

This was the time of their new years so the streets were quiet. It took me quite a while to get from the hostel to the train station I want to go to and then even further to get to the beginning of some hikes. At first I can't even find the beginning of a hike and it was becoming quite frustrating. Eventually I found where the start of the hike was. I did run into a fair amount of Korean people on the hike. The views of the city were stunning. It took a couple hours until I reached my first gate. I was kind of stunned when I got to the gate it was amazing that people used to hike this all the time as they cannot practice their religion in the city. To me it was quite special to be there. I think you could have walked for a really long time and seen so many cool things around this area. It reminded me why I'm traveling and how much I love being in the mountains. I felt quite moved being up there. I could have been there for hours easily.

For anyone who suffers with depression please watch the attached video I hope that this video, the pictures I have, and my stories inspire people to travel and make a change in your life. Change can be hard to do especially when you're stuck in a rut. Once you make a big change I'm sure you won't regret a thing. I made a change and so can you. Maybe this is what I need to make the final changes I need in my life after all it is;
