My Life, My Choice, My Time

Trying to reflect on my life right now I am sitting at the airport on my way back to New York. I just had a massage at the airport and let me tell you that is the way to wait for your flight a nice relaxing massage before flying.

On the flight down my tv didn't work so instead of being upset by that I asked and received a free beer - you have to take the good with the bad.

It has been a great few days at the rock fest. When I was at the fest looking around I couldn't help notice a few things about people and myself the more people try to look or be different the more they look the same I love music but to me it is something personal and almost private I don't need a girl who likes the same bands and music that I like rather a girl that would rather be in a different country who can enjoy some local musician on a beach while enjoying a drink sitting under palm trees or a music fest in a country with their local music. When I was in high school I didn't want to be judged by the t-shirt on my back rather the head on my shoulders but I didn't have a voice like I have now. I have friends who like the same music as me but I would rather have friends who I find out later are into the same music as me.

On the cab ride back to the airport today and the massage therapist I was talking about my new travelling lifestyle and it brings a smile to my face knowing I am living a lifestyle that I worked towards and was able to set a goal and achieve it. The last few days I have had that thought come in my head and put a smile on my face knowing I can do anything I choose to do after it is My Life, My Choice, My Time
