Lessons - patience & value of a dollar

Before I left for my trip my whiteboard was full of different phrases and words such as the following;
Sunday is Funday
no more new passwords
new experiences
no Monday mornings
helping others
learning the value of a dollar
patience

This post today focuses on the last two. I did not realize the event that happened the other night would be two lessons in one (or more). The value of a dollar depends on where you are from, your upbringing etc. If I gave you or your teenager two dollars what would you do with it besides reject the notion of it. Two dollars in countries such as Canada, Australia, the UK two dollars will not get you very much but two dollars here can get you two meals now what about twenty or fifty dollars? By this time as you are reading this the money that you have earned could have made a difference in someones life but there are so many people out there who are in desperate need and how can we help them all? You need to decide where and who to help. Could you imagine if someone who makes music, or movies or plays sports donated a whole pay cheque or percentage of a royalty to a worthy cause what a difference that could make?

What am I getting at with this? Volunteer your time or money because it is the right thing to do not because someone told you. Find a cause that means something to you. For me what is going on? Well I spent several hours today getting impatient with my tasks on hand and then I realized I was so I stopped. I realized one of the things I wanted to accomplish was staring at me and I realized I needed to stop and take a break which is why I am writing now. I have a few various aspects I am working on right now. If you didn't know there are lots of ways of making money online but for you reading this why would you need it when you are making more money in a day than most people would know how to spend. I have been busy today sending emails to organizations with ideas, registering on different sites and thinking of alternative ways of living my life but I have to realize that majority of these ways are not going to come over night and each dollar I earn now is one more meal and everything I do needs a little patience
