We truly live in a beautiful country! I don't know about anyone else but living where we do and not taking advantage of the outdoors is truly shameful. Sometimes I forget where I come from and what it means to be Canadian. I love my Canadian roots and have really enjoyed being back watching hockey and skiing but it is weird hearing so many funny accents (yes I mean our accent). It was also nice to be reminded how friendly and helpful we really are as Canadians.
A few of the things I missed while traveling chocolate milk, orange juice (haven't had good oj since I left) and Alberta beef!
I only had two days to ski in Canada this season and I may have gotten two of the best days. I had one area mostly to myself to ski, make fresh tracks and fall on my arse.
For now it is a beautiful day in Victoria where I am now so I am going to go out and enjoy the day as it is;
