A Canadian, a Dutch and an Irish traveler walk into a bar

Unfortunately the Canadians are the butt end of this joke.....We all know that Canadians are supposed to be some of the friendliest people and our neighbours to the sound are supposed to be the loud obnoxious ones unfortunately a lot of the Canadians that come to Whitefish MT are giving us a bad name....It can be very expensive for a night of drinking in Canada where beers are 6-7 plus a tip and when you come to Montana it is very cheap as in 2 or 3 dollars and they do take our dollar as well. Two nights in a row I was in a "Canadian bar" in Whitefish and there was guys kicked out for being loud obnoxious drunks last night was a group of 12 or so from Saskatchewan (they had to be riders fans haha). These guys were just being very loud and eventually the bartenders had enough and kicked them out and immediately after the bartender kicked them out he bought my mate and I beers for being "Good Canadians" (wohoo free beer for not being a dick!). Some of these people could be the same loud obnoxious people back home. This is also the 3rd time on this trip I had to remind Canadians that is not how we are....I have met more decent Americans on this trip then Canadians.

So what is the point of this whole post? Traveling gives you the option to be somebody different since nobody knows you but there is no need to forget where you come from and that you have a certain Canadian reputation to live up to - mild mannered, apologize to much, loves hockey, and knows how to handle a few beers. Remember what you do today can and will affect many travelers after you......

p.s. Do not take this as a slam towards American travelers more just be a responsible traveler as I do not like to have to be the guy in the bar who has to tell another Canadian that you are being an asshole quit making me look bad
